I stopped in Baden Baden on my way to ILTM this year – having never been to Germany I thought it was time to check out Brenner’s Park the Grande Dame of the city and their fabulous new Spa @ Villa Stephanie. I can safely recommend this property for any time of year.   If you do go to Baden Baden, you absolutely need to take the waters at the Fredriecksbad – quit the experience.

Brenner’s Park is the sister property to Hotel du Cap in the So. Of France and part of the Oetker Collection. The rooms remind me of the Du Cap and the service and food outlets are amazing.  They have 29 different varieties of tea, I was terribly impressed!

We ventured out for dinner to a lovely Inn near the entrance to the Black Forest, Hotel Hirsch Geroldsau, I ate the entire Black Forest on one plate. The local wine is delicious bye the way.

What a wonderful picture post card city it is and the Christmas Market is not to be missed.   I had never had Gluewein – it was FANTASTIC – it’s stronger than you think so don’t drink it too fast.
