What a deal!

Second Stop – Auberge Resorts Lodge at Blue Sky in Utah – 8 hour drive and so worth it!  We spend two glorious days hiking, swimming in the pool, hanging in the spa – SUBLIME!

Third Stop – Auberge Resorts Madeline Resort in Telluride.

Great location in Mountain Village.   The renovation is just what this property needed.  I am a huge fan of the 3, 4 & 5 bedroom residences (not a bad one in the bunch).

I have to give a shout out to  the wonderful concierge team for all there fabulous activity ideas + my stepdaughter, Ashley Lonsdale, is one of the concierges at the property (you will be well looked after if you decide to stay)!

I did a site at the Auberge Element 52 – OMG this is the true GEM of Telluride and the GM, Alex Rollinson, is the most charming and intuitive young man with years of hospitality experience.  He will guarantee you have a good time.

Dunton Town House in Telluride get a special mention as it’s right in town 5 bedrooms and the most charming place to stay – rates start at $500 per night.

The Sheridan is a throw back to the old Western Days when Telluride was a mining town.  It’s 125 years old and on the main drag – charming rooms, roof top bar and great restaurant.  Rates start at $350.

On to Phoenix on the way back to LA – we stayed at Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain which  has a great spa, pool and the best chef on the planet (well one of them), Beau MacMillan or BeauMac if you watch the food channel .   Dinner at Elements Restaurant on property was AMAZING!  The casitas & Villas are great – there are tennis courts and a great gym.  Definitely worth the stay.
